Bygone Sunset

Inspiration for this exercise came once more from the works of Tolkien.
He describes in his Silmarillion Elven Realms hewn into stone in the likeness of Trees and Nature.
Additionally I find the idea of an immortal race, which builds these incredible structures and then simply vanishes from the world weirdly beautiful.
I tried to create an atmosphere which reflects the Elves love for nature, and a kind of romanticised image of forgotten architecture.
