Geonosian Nantex-class Starfighter

Even with limited screentime in “Attack of the Clones” this Starfighter stuck with me through its uniquely geonosian design. The sleek shape appears nimble and dangerous. The bright yellow, almost eye-like, shapes on its sides give it an almost predatory visual identity. Paired with the purple blaster bolts, and sheer awesome sound design it is one of the many great designs of the Star Wars Prequels Some liberties have been taken to make it look more weathered and fit the style of Battlefront II more.

This model was made for use in a Star Wars Battlefront II mod. This upload serves only as a showcase. I modelled this using Nurbs-surfaces in Blender, and then textured it in Adobe’s Substance 3D Painter.
