Another Gaea 2 practice. This piece is somewhat inspired by the Dolomites.
The Landscape itself is made in Gaea 2 Beta. On top of the Gaea generated DIffuse texture I stacked normals and roughness maps for the rocks, sedimental discharge and greenery based on masks also generated in Gaea.
Rendered in Blenders wonderful Cycles Engine.
The next step I need to take to improve these landscape ideas is probably proper scattering of rocks and foliage. Here I just used a displaced PBR material in the foreground.
